Ryan McConn, MD is a board certified physician trained in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Medicine. He received his Bachelors of Science in Integrated Biological Sciences with a focus on Molecular Genetics and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Vermont. He received his MD from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed residency training in Anesthesiology at Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He completed additional fellowship training in Pain Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. His specialty training allows him to treat acute and chronic pain conditions with an emphasis on aggressive non-operative spine care. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists. He is the lead author of a textbook chapter titled “Prognosis” in “Fibromyalgia: Clinical Guidelines and Treatments” published in 2015. Clinical interests include chronic low back pain, spinal stenosis, lumbar radiculopathy, post-laminectomy syndrome, facet disease, and complex regional pain syndrome.
