Patient Care Representative
New York Spine and Wellness Center, the regional leader in providing chronic pain services to CNY has an opening for a full-time Patient Care Representative.
This position is for our front desk and will have direct patient contact. We are looking for someone that will deliver excellent customer service to our patients by scheduling appointments, answering phones, managing schedules and handling insurance follow-ups and authorizations.
This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to rotate between our North Syracuse, Dewitt, and Camillus locations. HS diploma required; Associates Degree preferred. At least three years’ experience in a healthcare setting, medical terminology, and insurance background is preferred and strong computer skills required. Must be courteous, efficient and able to multi-task in a fast pace setting.

Authorization Representative
New York Spine and Wellness Center, the regional leader in providing chronic pain services to CNY has an opening for a full-time Workers Comp and private insurance Authorization Representative.
The Authorization Representative is responsible for obtaining authorizations from workers comp and private insurances for procedures/injections performed in our office and at our surgery centers. This position will also be responsible for scheduling, calls to insurance companies, calls/questions from internal staff and patients, and point of service collections, while utilizing Allscripts (our EHR program).
Qualified candidates must have excellent communication and customer service skills. HS diploma required; associate degree preferred. At least one year of experience in authorizations and experience using Allscripts is preferred. Strong computer skills are a must. Must be courteous, efficient, and able to multi-task in a fast pace setting.

Clinical Support team-CNAs, Medical Assistants and LPNs
New York Spine and Wellness Center the regional leader in providing chronic pain services to CNY has openings for full time MA’s, CNA’s and LPN’s. At our specialty practice you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge in the science of pain management and therapeutic services.
As a clinical support staff member, you will work collaboratively both under supervision and independently to provide direct and indirect patient care in a team-oriented environment. You will enjoy coming to work every day knowing that your efforts will make people’s lives better. Your days will be busy, varied, and interesting and you will function in a team that includes CNA’s, MA’s LPN’s, RN’s NP’s, PA’s and MD’s.
Responsibilities include facilitating timely movement of patients from the waiting area to the exam room for patient intake utilizing our EHR system. This would include vitals, sample collection, assisting patients with health screenings, brace fittings and basic data entry while providing a high level of patient customer care. You will be assigned tasks, designated activities, and functions for which you will receive training in accordance with our policies and procedures. Staff must be able to work in a united effort to achieve team goals set forth by the practice.
Staff will work on a rotation basis between our East Syracuse, North Syracuse, and Camillus offices. Our work schedule includes an 8-hour day shift Monday through Friday.
Starting rate of pay $15.50-$22 DOE and license.
LPN Phone Triage/WC Med Authorizations-WFH
New York Spine and Wellness Center, the regional leader in providing chronic pain services, has an opening for a full-time LPN in our Triage Department.
We are seeking an LPN to provide clinical support to our Phone Triage Department as well as completing Worker's Compensation drug authorizations. Qualified candidates should be highly independent, motivated and have excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Position requires a NYS LPN license.
This is a full-time, work from home position, with on-site training for a minimum of 90 days. Candidates must be in the CNY area and have at least two years of hospital or office experience. Drug authorization experience preferred but not required.
Starting rate of pay $18.50-$22.00 DOE
Medical Assistant or LPN-RX
New York Spine and Wellness Center, the regional leader in providing chronic pain services to CNY, is adding to our team! At our specialty practice you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge in the science of pain management and therapeutic services.
As a member of our RX team you will be responsible for assisting providers and other clinical staff with patient refill requests. This role requires communicating with patients, providing information, and scheduling appointments as needed. Your days will be busy, varied, and interesting, and you will function in a team that includes CNA’s, MA’s, LPN’s, RN’s, NP’s, PA’s and MD’s.
Responsibilities include maintaining a complete understanding of the rules and regulation of NYS RX’s, monitoring and responding to pharmacy requests, performing PMP searches, electronically writing prescriptions to be e-scribed (with providers review and signature), Document and communicate within the EHR system, complete assigned daily tasks and maintain patient confidentiality.
