Visitor Restrictions

What has changed for safety's sake!

Effective July 6, 2020, at all office locations, all providers will resume seeing patients face to face.

Please be aware that we are following the New York State Department of Health guidelines and have policies in place to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Your safety and the safety of our staff is very important to us, and we take it seriously.

You will notice some changes when you arrive.

  • You will see signage reminding everyone to stay 6 feet apart whenever possible.
  • We have hand sanitizer in every room and several places throughout the waiting areas. We do request that you utilize sanitizer immediately upon entering the reception area.
  • The traffic pattern in each office has been modified; please pay attention to the signs.
  • Our reception areas and waiting room chairs have been marked accordingly, to help meet the social distancing requirements as best as possible.
  • The traffic pattern in the offices will flow in one direction when feasible. Please abide by the enter and exit signs.
  • You only need to stand in the checkout line if you are booking a test or a procedure.
  • There will be a clear plastic barrier between you and the check-in and check-out staff; however, it is on backorder. I guess all of NY is

What you should know before arriving for your next office visit:

  • Please be sure your cell number we have for you is accurate when booking an appointment. You can send a portal request to change your cell number.
  • You are required to arrive with your facemask on. The mask must cover both your nose and mouth. As long as New York State is enforcing this, so will we.
    • Please arrive for your appointment 15 minutes early and WAIT IN YOUR CAR. We will call you on your cell phone when we are ready for you to enter the building.
    • If you are having a EMG/NCS you do not have to wait in your car, please enter the building when you arrive.
    • If a you are a NEW patient, you do not have to wait in your car, please enter the building when you arrive.
    • If you do not have a cell phone, please enter the building when you arrive.
    • If are waiting in your car, and we have not called you and it is 30 minutes after your appointment time, please enter the building and let the person taking temperatures.
    • Upon entering the building, we will take your temperature and ask you a series of questions.
    • If you require the presence of a caregiver, you must limit it to 1 guest, please have all others wait in the car. Your caregiver will be required to wear a mask, and we will take their temperature and ask them a series of questions as well.
    • Do not bring children to your appointment, as we do not have an area for them to wait.
    • Established patients must check-in at the kiosk and use a credit card to pay copays. Kiosks are being sanitized between each use.
    • Traffic in the office will flow in one direction when feasible. Please abide by the enter and exit signs you see posted.

At the completion of your visit:

  • After your appointment is over, if you need another follow-up office appointment, do not stop at the desk-you can head on out! We will mail your next appointment to you.
  • After your appointment is over, if you need a test such as MRI/CT or procedure scheduled, please wait in the designated line, and we will call you up to the desk.
